Wedding Reception Venue

Our charming and rustic 200 year old barn is set in an idyllic Buckinghamshire location, providing the perfect wedding reception venue for your big day. Whether you’ve been planning your big day since you were five, or just since you got engaged, choosing your wedding reception venue is one of the bigger decisions you’ll make.

You may be thinking specifically of a barn reception or maybe you’re just looking for something a bit unique. However you envision your perfect wedding day, the team at The Barn can help to make it a reality, making it completely personal to you both. Your enjoyment and your guests’ comfort are our priorities.

The Barn can accommodate up to 50 people for a sit down meal (without a dance area), 100 people with a marquee extension and up 200 people for a buffet, bbq or hog roast (the marquee and barn are joined by a double door). We have a late license until 12am.

£2,250 - with catering provided by The Barn*
3 day hire

What’s included:

  • Set up the day before at 10 am
  • The barn main hall with bar, outdoor seating and garden, buffet room, kids playroom
  • Round tables with linen and chairs for 100 guests (additional tables and chairs are chargeable)
  • Crockery, cutlery and glassware
  • Waitressing staff, bar staff and cleaning staff
  • Marquee tent cost is not included in the Barn hire charge

* Catering and drinks an additional cost

 

£3,000 - self catering
3 day hire

What’s included:

  • The Barn main hall with licensed bar, outdoor seating and garden
  • Round tables with linen and chairs for 100 people (additional tables and chairs are chargeable)
  • Cutlery, crockery and glasswear
  • Bar staff included
  • Waitressing staff included
  • Marquee tent cost is not included in The Barn hire charge
  • Our kitchen and external electricity is not available to use at any time
  • If using catering vans generators must be provided by outside catering companies and must be completely self sufficient

Non refundable deposit of £1500 required to secure the date. Balance is due 2 months before date. Date can be rebooked minimum 3 months before booked date.

Deposit is refundable only if the event is cancelled by the venue.

We offer a variety of options for food on the day.

These include:

  • 3 course sit down meal - wedding breakfast (max 70 people)
  • Buffet options (no maximum people)
  • BBQ (minimum 50 people, no maximum)
  • Hog roast (minimum 80 ppl maximum 150 people)

We have a fully stocked licensed bar. We offer:
